All I can say is perfect place just a shame the workman started very early in the morning across the steam.

Relaxing bank holiday weekend in beautiful Millrace cottage
10.0Lovely little cottage on the river Holme, beautifully restored & furnished, immaculately clean & stocked with everything we needed plus some nice little extra touches like fresh bread & milk when we arrived, logs & kindling for the log burner, bathrobes in the bathroom. Kate was so helpful with her recommendations for the area & kept us well informed about our arrival process & parking. Lovely shortish (20 min) walk mostly along the river into Holmfirth or slightly longer walks heading up Holme valley & around the reservoirs. Enjoyed sitting out on the balcony over the river listening to the water & birds singing.

10.0Great little cottage, super cozy with the fire place, well stocked kitchen and easy access to the Peak District. Great communication with Kate who was very helpful providing ideas for the area.
