A vastly overpriced, grossly and dishonestly misrepresented unit, to be avoided at all cost.

The facilities were clean and comfortable.

− The advertising for this place was grossly misleading and deceptive. Nowhere is it made clear that the owners live above the unit, another person lives 30 feet away, there are two noisy dogs that roam the place, there is no lockable door between the two and so there is no privacy. Neither is there a lockable entry/exit door so everything is unsecured when youre out of the unit. There is no actual kitchen only a microwave and a very tiny portable oven that wouldnt hold an entire chicken to roast. Instead of staying there to use the outdoor BBQ and spa with family we had come to visit, in the daytime we left as soon as we could each morning and stayed away all day. Conversations between the owners and when on their phones and the loud TV are easily heard, so we found ourselves whispering. The toilet and bathroom are effectively in the owners space, through an unlockable door so again highly unsatisfactory . A dog defecated on the carpet by the bathroom, unnoticed by me until I stood in it with bare feet. On our last night there were a dozen guests at the hosts place on the balcony above the Unit and barely any space to park. At the end of our four night stay we left feeling utterly ripped off and angry at being sucked in to staying at a place where we had no choice but to remain.

The host are lovely.

− Overall me and my family did have a lovely stay, although I feel this property is not advertised properly at all! The owners reside right over top of the place you have booked. There are neighbors right on the front door step of the place there was no privacy as the owners came and went as they pleased. We even had to shuffle cars a few times because they needed their trailers from where abouts we were staying for $612 I wasn't happy. The bathroom situation is not very ideal either. I would never have booked had I have known that someone lives in there other shed right on the airbnbs door step and knowing the owners reside at the top without being notified and seeing this upon arrival I was not happy at all.

Lovely hosts, but false advertising

nice location, amazing hosts. Hillary and Graeme are such kind and accomodating people. Very warm and easy to talk to.

− The lack of transparency. The ad on booking.com gives no indication you will be staying in their home under their living room. The bathroom was in their house and you had to enter into their front door area to use it. There was no kitchen, just a hotel-like kitchenette. Also a lack of privacy with being in their home. This wouldn't have bothered me had they said in the description that you would be staying in the downstairs area of their house. For $770, i would have preferred to know where i would actually be staying.
