Comfortable beds nice location

− my daughter was horrified to find used tissue and hair in her bed and then noticed that the duvet cover was stained. We then checked our bed and saw that the bedding was not fresh. I contacted pillow partners and someone came round the following day to change the bedding but we had to put up with this for one night. When I checked the reviews I noted that this was not the first time! The whole cottage felt slightly grubby. The agency needs to get it's act together! I feel we should have been compensated but only received apologies. I even had to ask for the toilet roll to be replaced. I've used booking.com for years and can honestly say this is the first time I have written a negative review. I did mot think to take photos but my husband took these 2 when he was wiping down in the kitchen. This was from under the draining rack

Very beautiful area. Cozy cottage. However what ruined our stay was the dirty bed sheets and bedding. I messaged the manager about this and received a response that they will come over to swap the sheets for new ones. Unfortunately nobody came! There were also no bin bags left in the bins. Mostly quite messy. Everything else was fine.

Cosy cottage with modern facilities.

− There were some issue with lack of basic provisions (bin bags, toilet roll, washing up liquid) on arrival, but the Landlord has since advised this was due to a change of cleaning staff and has since been rectified. The cottage is very cosy, but quite spacious with separate living and dining rooms and spacious bedrooms. The directions to find could be a bit more explanatory as it is located down a cul-de sac off the main road then tucked into the side of a block of cottages (possibly advise to look for the small alley between house no x and y and turn up that). On the whole good value and the facilities have been updated to a high standard with a keen eye to safety standards such as modern smoke/heat detectors and fire alarms. The communication from the Landlord was very effective, answering any email queries in a very short space of time. One added bonus is that there is a very nice pet friendly pub just down the street . On the whole would recommend.

Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds lovely bathrooms.

− The spindles on the staircase are wide enough for a dog to get through and small probably a small child. We had to block with a chair. No oven glove in the kitchen had to go and buy one.
