Location was close to my daughter, which was main reason for booking.

− The property was not as seen on pictures and description. The property was not clean at all, the kitchen wasn't stocked and I had to buy a pizza cutter, tea towel and oven gloves. Be aware there is only 1 towel per bedroom, despite there being 5 adults and 2 children so I again bought towels. We only found the dishwasher tablets on the last day, 2 of for a 3 night stay. Bought cleaning products to wipe everything down. So it cost me way more to supply what I could have brought. You also need to supply ID - which we were only aware of day before

Missing bedding, 1 towel between 6 people, unclean, poor communication.

Location was good and the accommodation was spacious. When able to get hold of the owner he was courteous and offered a bottle of wine to rectify our experience however this did not equate to a fair resolution to the issues we had.

− Terrible experience. Prior to the booking we withdrew the deposit in cash as stated in their check in policy. I was then told that this needed to be sent to an account the day before checking in. I was told I would be sent the door code once this has been received. Deposit was sent and this was confirmed by the owner, however no door code was provided. I presumed this would perhaps be sent on the day. By the time check in came I still received no door code and had to contact the owner for this while our friend from America had to stand outside the property after a long flight until the code had been received. Upon entering the property we found that there had been 1 towel provided between 6 people and 2 of the 5 beds had no bed linen at all, with quilts just left in a ball on the bed. It had been cleaned to a minimal standard - stains in the bathroom/ shower, stains on the bedding/ beds, toothpaste splashed on the mirrors just left and a used plaster on the floor in the bathroom. I contacted the owner regarding the lack of bedding and 1 towel and was told this would be sorted that night. When we returned from our evening this had not been done and we still had only one towel and were left to sleep that night with no bedding. I was then phoned at 7am on a Saturday morning by the owner who said the cleaner was outside with bedding and towels. I told the cleaner to give me the towels and that he would have to come back at a more reasonable hour to put the bedding on the beds. Before leaving the property for him to do this I contacted the cleaner to say the property was now free and asked if he needed us to leave the key. I received no response so presumed he had access to the property. He then replied once we had left and said he did need the key, to which I replied he would then have to come and collect the key from where we were having brunch. I had to leave the meal and walk down the road to meet the cleaner despite telling him exactly where we were.
