Don't waste your money on this rental
3.0The beach was wonderful with a spectacular sunset. The swimming pool, although shared with other guests was clean and safe.
− The house we rented was NOT clean. We had to wash all the plates before we could use them. The cutlery was so rusted, corroded, and dirty that we went to a local pulpería and bought a bag of plastic folks to use during our stay. The pot scrubber provided was so used and filthy, we had to buy a new one. The property advertised a coffee maker and toaster oven, neither worked. The frying pan provided was an old teflon pan scrubbed through to bare aluminum. The sheets on the beds were so dusty that we had the cleaning lady change them all before we could bed down for the night. The floor drain in the shower was clogged with hair. No fun showering in a two inch deep puddle of dirty water. The house cannot be made secure, many of the window shutters were so warped and locking hardware so rusted and broken, we were very uncomfortable .leaving the house unattended. The bathroom door cannot be closed properly causing privacy concerns. I could go on but this is probably enough to discourage other potential renters. I have booked through booking.com more than 20 times over the past couple years and never had occasion to complain before. This property is clearly the worst and poorest value for the $169 USD paid.
