Lovely little cottage with a great host
9.0Host was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast basket was really appreciated. Lots of little extra touches. Really nice place

10.0Attention to detail was second-to-none. Communication with the host was quick and reliable. Presents and food on arrival was a very classy addition. Excellent!
− There was nothing we didn't like but if I had to put something then maybe leaving a hoover available instead of a pan and brush would have made cleaning the kitchen floor a bit easier. But, that's not a big problem.
Perfect cottage for our trip to Southwell, we shall return for sure 😍

Beautiful and relaxing cottage in Southwell not to be missed
10.0Beautifully updated and looked after cottage in a wonderful location. We loved being so close to the park and the kids loved the playgrounds! The house was cosy and spacious, a real home from home. The owner was very helpful and thoughtful, suggesting places to visit etc. Would definitely recommend and would love to visit again.
− Everything was fabulous, the only suggestion I'd have for improvement is the shower was a bit hard to keep at the right angle -and not accidentally flood the floor! The holder thing for the shower could do with improving.

10.0We spent a very nice weekend staying in Southwell at Lavender Cottage, which was a good size for the two of us. Rebecca was in regular contact prior to, and during, our stay . The cottage was 5 minutes' walk from the Minster and had everything that we needed for our stay. The cottage is set back from the road and was very quiet. The beds were comfortable and the cottage was very clean. We would very happily stay here again if we revisit Southwell.
