Comfortable enough for a week stay with great communication by the host. But disappointing location and somewhat dirty a
6.0Quiet part of Akaroa
− TV reception was limited and poor (no channel 9) having to use my laptop to watch television. The bed and the sofa was ok but at times ended up with a numb back side having them be thin on a slatted bed. ‘Holiday by the beach’ is false advertising as it is not by the beach but on the main road with no views of water whatsoever ever.
This was a good base to stay while exploring the area.
7.0There was enough space for 4 adults and 4 kids, and the kids enjoyed having their own separate space in the games room. It was also good having two toilets, with the en-suite.
− It wasn’t relaxing or that pleasant to sit around outside (it was a bit noisy from road traffic, and the grass was quite long and the garden was overgrown).
