Great time!
10.0Stayed here in early August, family of five. First of all, David is an exceptional host. Essentials were left for us on arrival and nothing was too much trouble for him. Obviously he's an excellent guide for the area as well! The house is well equipped, very comfortable and warm. WiFi was strong and fast. Loads of place to visit in the area, so many lovely beaches both on Lewis and Harris, the lolaire monument, the Alpaca farm, Calanais Standing Stones, the random but amazing Crust Pizza and so many many more! Worth a quick visit to the small shop at the end of the road (sells crafts, souvenirs and 2nd hand goods... if you're lucky you might see the famous donkeys there! Would definitely recommend staying here, we hope to be back.

10.0Was a beautiful house and owner left us fresh milk bread butter till we got shops house was spotless and the views were amazing we can’t thank you enough definitely be back

− There seemed to be a loose tile above roadside bedroom but we did have quite extreme weather but that’s the Hebrides for you 👍🏻👍🏻

9.0very nice place with all working emenities, and nice touch leaving some basics for us when we arrived. house it self fantastic and real nice neighbours and generally all very good. only reason i didnt score it a 10 was because i didnt catch any fish (not the house fault) but ideal location for bit of shore fishing and great view of the sea. will be coming again if available

10.0The house was very comfortable and very clean. The location was excellent, handy for Stornoway. The village was quiet and very well kept, everyone was very friendly. David was an excellent host helping with information about the places we planned to visit. We would recommend staying here to anyone thinking of visiting the Outer Hebrides.

10.0The property is located in a fantastic location, close to a beach. The house was clean, beds were really comfortable. We had a really warm welcome from the owner. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Beautiful place.
