Ideal and lovely property, would definitely recommend to friend’s & family

The property was in a great location, very ideal having 2 parking spaces. Close to local walks & hikes, great pubs & brunch near by! All kitchen equipment and amenities we needed were there. Comfy beds and perfect space for what we needed. The host were responsive and great at communicating when needed - thank you for a lovely stay !

Potentially some cleaning under furniture etc (however still good standards!)

Pretty cottage in Tideswell

9.0

Pretty , modernised cottage in a great location for walks such as Monsal trail - straight from your doorstep Great pubs with log fires and good food such as The Starr inn and Tideswell lounge coffee shop are all in walking distance

Not enough pug sockets - but then it’s an old cottage so always an issue . Church bells next door ring from 5am and keep people in twin bedroom at the front awake

The perfect cottage in the heart of Tideswell

9.0

The cottage is perfectly located in the heart of Tideswell with all the amenities and shops within walking distance. Yet as it's off the main road you don't get the hustle and bustle of the traffic.

A minor personal criticism but I found the bed too soft. I prefer a firmer bed due to my back, but that's a personal criticism which I understand.

Great location, great shower, kitchen is well stocked.

8.0

Location, shower was great, plenty of bits in the kitchen for cooking, even though we didn’t .

Not very practical: - no hooks in bathroom to hang clothes when showering - no toilet roll holder on the wall, although by the two holes in the wall there had been one - hand towel was next to loo, not great - silly hand towel ladder thing to the right of the sink where the hand towel ring could go - no shower racks to put toiletries on - sink overpowers the room - bedding was cheap as duvet was lumpy - nowhere to hang towels to dry in particular - no hooks on the back of the door of bedroom - tv was on a table which I walked into twice, it really needs to be wall mounted - no plug sockets near mirror, so you end up drying your hair in front of the tv as the most accessible power point Sorry we did enjoy it but these are the niggly things that would turn it from a 3/4* to 5*

Location excellent, well equipped cottage, garden for the dog. Private parking space

Some minor cleaning issues. Upstairs bin not emptied, elastic band with hairs on it on cupboard upstairs and old dog bone under the sofa. I would add these issues did not affect our stay and we would return.
