10.0Very clean and comfortable, made extra special by the delicious treats that were greeting us on our arrival. Parking on the drive Quiet and peaceful Short walk into town and so many beautiful places to visit nearby.
Lovely place to stay.
9.0The apartment is a converted garage (great idea) so was very compact, but it had everything we needed and was perfect for two people and a little dog. The owner left us a lovely welcome pack with home made cake, scones, jam and clotted cream! And there is a little private court yard where the sun shines in the evening for afternoon tea.
− Just a small thing that may not be a problem for everyone, particularly people who are more organised than we are: the property is on a housing estate 20mins walk from the village, which was fine it was a nice location, but we had travelled straight from work arriving late afternoon and there were no shops locally (even the one in the village centre closes at tea time) you need to be sure to bring the essentials such as milk for tea/coffee and breakfast as, although there were teabags and coffee pods in the welcome pack, there wasn’t any milk.
