− Didn't receive the key code entry, had to call when we arrived, for £290 per night I'd have expected at least a small welcome pack, no kitchen roll or washing up liquid and only 2 toilet rolls, the bin was also half full when we arrived, it appeared that no one knew we were coming?

Lovely house. Within walking distance of the coast at Cellardyke and Anstruther harbour. The house was clean, well equipped and very comfortable, and the hot tub was a bonus. The key code we were given by Booking.com was wrong so we had to call the contact number to sort that out (not the owner’s fault) so make sure you have the contact number handy. Apart from that we really couldn’t fault it. Would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay on this fabulous part if Fife.

Spacious. Very good wifi. Very handy for the tidal pool and walks. The property was very clean and well lade out. The hot tub was nice. Very good shower. The property is situated in a nice housing estate which feels very safe. You can hear the ocean from the conservatory and rear garden.

− There was sand in the hot tub even though it was supposed to have been throughly cleaned. The heater in the conservatory did not work. We reported it using the Booking.com messaging on evening of arrival (on the Tuesday) but have not received a response 6 days later even after chasing. It was too cold to sit in the conservatory much of the time which was a shame. We could not sit out in the rear garden due to the neighbour's dogs which would bark aggressively when we went out. The property listing says there is a cosy fireplace - but there is no fireplace.

Lovely and clean. Ample parking. Well equipped kitchen.

− All the wheelie bins were full when we arrived. Also we were asked to put bins out for collection, not easy on the gravel surface of the driveway. The photos of the property mislead me to think there would be a welcome pack. What was left for us was some long life milk sachets and a few teabags. Oh and a new dish cloth and clean tea towel/ oven gloves. Also the coffee maker. Could not find the correct capsules for these within a ten mile radius so take them with you if you want to use it.

Very pleasant and would return.

Very clean, comfortable, hot tub was great, easy parking, pleasant neighbourhood. Modern decor. Easy to get to all local attractions. Plenty of towels.

− Just a few minor niggles: only one set of keys provided as second set not there; second bedroom is a little cramped for adults; window wouldn’t open - problem with catch and as a result room became very warm ( kept blind down); there could have been more forks and mugs.
