The entire experience was everything we needed to cap off our trip to Scotland. Liz is a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome. There were eggs, milk, and bread supplied along with a basket of goodies. The rooms were accommodating and the shower was great. I would come back again just to relax in that house and go nowhere else. The view is amazing and the sheep are friendly! I've been to Hawaii a few times over the last year and I recall being amazed by how many stars I could see in the sky. And then I went to Cowden Farm and looked up at night -I've never seen that many stars in my life. This might be the best place I've ever stayed.

Beautiful setting on a farm. The farmhouse is very nicely decorated with each room unique. It’s very comfortable and well stocked. The host, Liz has truly gone above and beyond and thought of everything to make your stay memorable.

A beautiful house, the many details and little things, everything there is very nice. Very nice, communicative and lively landlady. Beautiful landscape from the 1st floor a very nice view! The hedge needs to be trimmed to get the view on the ground floor! 🤓 Please don't tell anyone! 🫵🏻

Everything about the house was perfect, we loved how quiet it was at night. The beds were probably the most comfortable beds we had stayed in. Host was great and always on hand if we required anything. Would definitely stay here again.
