Unique property in a brilliant location on a beautiful island.

Brilliant location - easy to find and close to everything . Fantastic views over the sea and listening to the waves crashing onto the rocks at night was wonderful. Quirky features were lovely.

− There were a few issues (lack of any running water mainly) which whilst were resolved it would have useful to have an information book that could have been easier and quicker to resolve. Very poor internet connection, which we know is a 21st century issue, and we were on holiday so getting away from it all, but useful when trying to contact owner and keep in touch with family back home.

Lovely stay at Poseidon House. Perfect location to explore Mandrakion

The property is in an excellent seafront location. The noise of the waves was lovely. The upstairs patio was spacious and the sunbeds were comfy. There was shade at certain times of the day. It is a lovely quirky house with some beautiful features and thoughtful additions. The owner responds to messages promptly. Lovely restaurant just across the way. Short walk to the nearest beach.

− The stairs are quite tricky to navigate so not suitable for elderly or infirm. The shower head was not attached to the wall. We reported it but unfortunately it was not fixed during our stay. We couldn't use the oven as it tripped the electrics.

The rustic feel of the house and the balcony. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The host was responsive and helpful. You have everything you need within walking distance.

Unique experience, few inconveniences

The location is breathtaking making the experience truly unique. You live and sleep hearing waves crushing at the walls of the house. Next to it is the most scenic cafe/taverna of the island. The sun sets in the sea and you are provided with an exclusive stunning view.

− Hot water and wifi were not working during the period of our stay and the manager was not able to find a solution. The staircase is very steep and dangerous. There were plenty of small ants in the kitchen so you had to be careful where to leave food
