A basic stay that was overpriced

Location was so beautiful. Super emote bust quiet, serene and surrounded by wildlife

− Was very very tired and pics didn’t represent the house. One bedroom had termite damage and rotting wood on the floor boards, dirty kitchen window with tracks of dead flies in them. Outside furniture had wasp nest in it and covered in bird poo so we had to clean it to use them. Laundry was filled with broken lamps and items just throw in. No bins in the bathroom even though there were signs that said to pop all items except toilet paper in bin? The property was a self rated 4 star but definitely was not - although we paid a 4 star price. Although it was clean inside the main issues was it overpriced. We own holiday rentals and this was not a great experience.

Comfortable and great place for a family get together.

We loved the place, surrounded by nature and with an outdoor fire pit where we spent most of our time talking, cooking, and enjoying the great outdoors. The kitchen was well equipped make it easy to prepare meals. We checked in on Good Friday and was a surprise to find a box of Easter eggs. How lovey!

− The journey to the property involves driving down an unsealed road, but don't worry if you drove an SUV. Oh, please remember to defrost the freezer once a while and keep a hair dryer close by would enhance our stay.

Challenging country roads to get there - but magical once you arrive!

The views and the scenery are wonderful. You have a quiet location to yourself - but it is not too far to go to the Hunter Valley wineries near Pokolbin. We saw kangaroos each morning and in the early evenings as we sipped our wine purchases from that day!

− The property was lovely and well presented. A little more attention to small details (e.g., hand towels in the washroom) would make it awesome. FYI - the proprietor was very quick to acknowledge these improvement suggestions.
