Good value for money lovely house
8.0Great space for a family, good range of equipment and comfortable bedrooms. Good location for local shops. Good communication with hiring company when small probl we ms arose.
− Parking a bit difficult if you have more than 1 car, we had 3., garage too small for any of our cars to go in we did manage to find parking elsewhere when we stayed (Feb) but not by the house I can imagine its a nightmare in a summer.

10.0Large, comfortable house well located for the town and its facilities. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and equiped. Heating was adequate and suited our needs.
− On the first night we used the wood burner after about 2 or so hours the carbon-monoxide alarm went off. We evacuated the room and opened windows etc. No injuries. We tried it again the next night with no problems and again every other night. We did leave the window near the fire open a crack for ventilation. No further problems. We feel that the burner needs a service perhaps to confirm it is safe! We have used a range of wood burners in the past with no problems. We were happy with the amount of glasses, crockery and glasswear but some items were not clean, almost as if no washing after use.

Lovely stay in a good sized house, has everything you need for a family getaway. Cleanliness needs improving
7.0Nice house in a great location, lovely shops, pubs and restaurants nearby (less than 5 min walk). Top floor bedroom is lovely
− Not very clean on arrival, and significant fly problem. Counted 20-30 dead flies on the floor when we checked in, and lots more alive throughout all rooms of the property. Also parking is a bit of a nightmare on the street if you have more than 1 car.

− Flies everywhere, fly poo everywhere. Property in need of regular deep cleaning because of this . Outside area needs bit of cleaning and tidying , grass was long. Could be lovely with bit of TLC.
