Gecko castle is good value for money and it has an excellent location in Dulldtroom.
9.0The location was excellent we could walk to the main area of town. It was big enough for our group. All beds have electric blankets for the cold nights and the main fireplace keep the area warm.
− It is advertised as pet friendly, but the fence was not secure for small dogs as they could go through the fence, so we had to always keep en eye for them.
We always enjoy going to Dullstroom and we would recommend Gecko Castle, for sure.
8.0The house was spacious and very comfortable. It was neat and tidy. The neighbourhood was quiet and it was close to the shops and restaurants.
− A bit of quality check on the cleaning of the kitchenware is needed. Coffee mugs had coffee rings at the bottom. Dirty pot in the cupboard. Bedroom downstairs, main bedroom light not working. Bedside lamps cracked and pieces falling off. Shower floods the bathroom floor after 2 mins of using the shower. No provisions made for power outages, which we had from the Saturday night till the Sunday late afternoon (17h00) No emergency lights were working, no gas plate to boil some water etc. or even candles.
