A perfect coastal getaway, close to everything far from nothing.
10.0The cottage was quaint and homely, it was perfect for a getaway along the coastal part of the Western Cape. The amenities were perfectly complimentary to what I needed for my stay. Close enough to local activities and other coastal towns along the garden route. The cottage felt safe at all times even though the exterior wall wasn't high like most places in South Africa (Bonus is that the police station is on the same street a bit further down, if safety is a priority when choosing a location).
− The main gate was manual, so I had to make sure to check my surroundings when opening and closing the gate behind me when bringing my car inside after traveling at night – but to reiterate, once I was on the property I felt very secure and safe. The inside of the house had lovely wooden floor boards, but they creaked a lot when walking around, was very conscious of that at night-time.
Excellent facilities. Good location. Attention to every detail.
