The cottage was very spacious and had lots of bits for young children (toys, cot and highchair). Everything you need for a small getaway. It was in a great location for accessing the local town and the station to get to Edinburgh.

− We have two very small children and so it would have been even better with a stair gate but this is very minor. Some bits of the cottage could be cleaner (oven and shower) but nothing of major note.

Opened windows for ventilation and we were very happy with facilities, parking and all the space

Location was very good. Convenient for town and countryside.

− Although advertised as non smoking property there was a smell of cigarette smoke. May permeate from the property below( perhaps). The chimney pot on the patio had a lot of cigarette butt's and beer cans in it. So someone has smoked there.

Home away from home

Great space and close to everything we wanted to see in the area. Was lovely to come back to a quiet place to relax after spending the days out and about. Lots of room for everyone, great shower and kitchen had everything need to make meals. Neighbours are also lovely. Galashiels is a great place to roam, check out the shops, cafes and The Great Tapestry.

le logement est confortable et fonctionnel

− problème de chauffe eau mais vite résolu Il manque une ptte pelle avec la balayette pour nettoyage Les plaques de cuisson sont un peu usagées; Concernant les produits laissés hors frigo (mayonnaise, ketchup) sans date de sortie de frigo nous ne pouvons pas les utiliser
