Stressful & Uncomfortable
4.0The photos looked good, but in reality it’s not how they presented it to be
− The cleanliness was poor. Cobwebs and spiders in every corner of the cottage (including the kitchen larder). The bathroom floor was mucky. No shower tray meaning water everywhere and into the hallway! There was hair on the couch (possibly dog hair). Decoration pillows were filthy and unwashed (a few left on our beds as well). Only one toilet roll for 3 guests staying for 3 nights. Thick buildup of dust on the picture frames. We turned down the 22£ refund we were offered for the inconvenience as we felt the number was laughable in comparison to how much we paid for our stay. They did send a cleaner the next morning but we haven’t seen that much of a difference. The same spiders seen in the same spot untouched (got videos as proof).

10.0Clean, well equipped and a great location within easy distance to St Ives and more. Really nice shower and beds were exceptionally comfortable
− Thought it was a detached property and not part of a terrace of lodges, but this wasn’t really a problem
