The house was beautiful. Large enough to comfortably house me, my 3 kids and my mom. Ground floor was completely wheelchair friendly - huge bedroom and en-suite, comfortable sitting room, laundry room, kitchen and extra bathroom. Upstairs had another bathroom and two huge bedrooms. Everything was spotless, well put together and extremely comfortable.

− The lack of stable internet connection was a big issue. I found it extremely frustrating to be unable to use google in the house to find things for us to do as a family - if we wanted to check anything we had to be at least 100m from the property.

Host messaged me that morning with details on how to access the house. We stayed there for the weekend of cow boys and hereos and it was a great location. Nice big kitchen and sitting room area.

− The WiFi code didn’t work. The shower upstairs didn’t have hot water but the shower downstairs did. There was only hand towels no bigger ones for showering.

Beautiful location. We saw horses, beautiful hares frolicking outside , we heard a barn owl and a long eared owl,saw bats and all sorts of birds. ,the cabin is very spacious , well equipped with delph, utensils,pots , could do with a decent pan , it was warm and cosy as heating was preset although didn't seem to heat the water, it was a fantastic layout for larger families or a group of friends going away together. Lovely and warm, No issue with space as bedrooms were great, no issues with parking.plenty of kitchen, bedroom storage.

− Just a few points that could be improved on -Communication from the Owner wasn't wonderful, I was inquiring about the bed situation and requested 2 Extra beds if possible but had no idea until we arrived if they were going to be there or not so we had to bring bulky camp beds and sleeping bags with us. Thankfully the extra beds were there but it would have been nice to know before we arrived. Parts of the Cabin itself and deck could badly do with some maintenance. Bits of timber from the front door were broken off and on the deck as we arrived, the seals around the door glass were blowing in the wind. The mat was covered in moss, the railings around the deck are very wobbly and lots of posts were hanging loose, we tried to fix it as best we could. Fabulous pull out larder in the kitchen but a couple of the shelves were fairly rusty and rough. Fabulous extendable Kitchen table, but needs to be tightened as it's very wobbly . The entire taps on 2 of the bathroom sinks just twisted around as you turned them on or off. The flushing mechanism on the Loo off the utility room needs attention. Both shower doors need to be fixed or replaced as they're very loose. I removed clumps of hair from under the door before anyone showered and the shower head bracket downstairs is held up with a cable tie.i dropped something behind the locker and it wasn't very clean behind there. Beautiful stove in the sitting room but the handle or the locking mechanism isn't right, the handle is positioned directly in front of the fire when closed and gets so hot that it's dangerous to touch, it fell off at one point and had to be screwed back on when cool enough to touch. There was something in the ceiling space between the upstairs and downstairs,we were terrified that it may have been rats as it sounded like feet running around in the early morning for the 4 days were there.

Beautiful location, the property was very well equipped & the owner very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. The property is very well equipped, clean, comfortable & perfect for a stay with a few friends. The superking bed in the downstairs bedroom was so comfortable :) Thanks for a lovely stay :)
