10.0The experience with this beautiful space starts before you get in the door. Greeted by rolling hills and lush trees with the soothing sounds of bird song is the best welcome. The house is absolutely stunning. Equipped with absolutely everything you need to make your stay a comfortable one. Caroline is the icing on the cake, she is lovely and always made sure we had everything we needed. We were greeted with slices of cake waiting for a cuppa, in the fridge were home made compote, jam, relish. Fresh eggs from the chookies and fresh bread ready for our breakfast. I hope to return again soon. Thank you Caroline for making this gorgeous space available for us. I was fortunate to snap some photos of the beautiful night sky. I feel so blessed.
Host Caroline is friendly, caring and lays on a farm breakfast spread you will not believe.
10.0The Last Straw is close to Nelson, within 15minutes, but when you are there, it could be 1000 miles away, Quiet, relaxing, fantastic cottage, just a beautiful place to relax and recharge.

9.0Incredibly charming home. This would be the perfect spot to enjoy an elegant county house and get away from everything.
− If you need WiFi during your stay, make sure you arrange it in advance. I asked about WiFi before my visit and was directed that instructions would be available upon arrival. Internet is provided by StarLink, but during my 1 night stay I could never connect.
