Fabulous views and unique location made this stay heavenly!
9.0The views and location right on the seafront. Huge house with plenty of space to relax in. Being able to swim when the tide was in!
− The funny single beds weren’t great for our 83 year old mother. Some sunbeds outside would have been appreciated.
Best location in Carlingford
10.0Full of character, spacious, fantastic views
Perfect house, we didn’t want to leave!!
10.0The location was so convenient, just a minute walk to downtown. The conservatory overlooking the water was amazing. The house was comfy and clean, and very charming.

9.0Wonderful house with amazing space and views. It rained most of the time there but house was great and we made fires so very cozy
Unique property on the waterfront
10.0Unique house, with wood burning stove and location is phenomenal…
− The bed configuration is unusual. But we made it work.
Thank you! We loved our stay very much.
9.0We had a fabulous 4 night stay at Wood Quay. The property is unique with the most amazing view over the lough which laps at the doorstep and windows. It was very relaxing to sit and relax and enjoy the view. The location is very convenient for the town centre just a few minutes walk away. The beds are comfy, the toe to toe beds in the twin rooms are unusual but are very comfy and spacious, we all slept well! We had the stove going in the conservatory which worked well and the aga is lovely and homely. My mum has mobility issues and the property worked well as no stairs/ steps - although some floors are uneven as it's an old property.
− It's a rustic style property which we liked but may not suit some people. Some fixtures, fittings, furniture are a little tired. Some light bulbs needed to be replaced - there are a lot of lamps! Would be nice to have a bit more info in the property about the local area - like where nearest supermarket is - the one in town is very small - we went to Newry. Also some info about the history of the area and Wood Quay would be nice as it's so unique.
