Designated parking for apartment in a quiet residential block. Flame effect fire gave a nice cosy feel.

− Apartment in need of some maintenance - most notably the dishwasher, light fittings and oven drawer. Front door key pad is difficult to operate in hot weather as the door does not close properly. There were bags of dirty linen and rubbish left by cleaner, presumably from the previous occupant. More diligent cleaning overall required (see top of fridge). No live TV channels. No facility for recycling - had to use the residential block next door!

The bed was comfortable, the shower had good pressure.

− I couldn't get the keypad to work, when I was told to bang on it. Took a good 20 minutes at 9pm to get in. The heat was set to 16 when no one there and at night. I had to walk through a foot of snow on more than one occasion, not shoveled in a timely manner. The material that is on the deck is extremely slippery. There is no cable or antenna, you have to use your own accounts and the internet seems slow and glitchy especially when using the TV and your phone. Not that important but he couch was uncomfortable and the laundry basket is broken so I'm not sure why it's there.

Our stay was great. Very clean and spacious. Close to everything.

An absolute gem

Outstandingly peaceful location, despite nearby building works; someone really went to town sound-proofing this place. The cleanliness was far beyond expectations. Apart from a very little sand in the lint catcher in the dryer, this place was immaculate (and to be frank I think needs a thin attachment to reach the sand which our hosts cleaning service may not carry as standard). Everything was fresh-smelling and gleaming. Communication was excellent. The supply of the single biggest bottle of all in one laundry liquid detergent I have ever seen in my life was extremely appreciated. Everything you could possibly need is here and thoughtfully supplied in as-new condition. Beds were a delight. Water pressure perfection in the shower. Even the artwork and books were just lovely. I will 100% stay here again without any hesitation.

− NOT the hosts fault but be aware there is no lift or ramp to the first level and a decent little lintel to step over; if you have mobility concerns best to let them know. Shower is a step in bath so again if you are facing a mobility issue this will not be accessible. I may simply have over looked it but a decent fan would be amazing in there; it got humid really quickly and there was no way to circulate the air. We would have liked to helped air it better after we cooked too.
