We had a comfortable, pleasant stay but the bathroom location did slightly "take the edge off it".
8.0It is a clean, comfortable property, almost in the town centre and very handy for shops/(including a supermarket !)/cafes/etc but in a very quiet location.
− The website does not indicate that the bathroom (inc toilet) is on the ground floor and not with the bedrooms on the first floor ! (This is probably ok for younger people but can be a bit problematic for "oldies" (like us !!), or a family with smaller children.
It needs a good clean

− Very steep stairs with incorrectly fitted carpet making the stairs dangerous. I have noticed this being reported on reviews but never corrected.
We LOVED the excellent location but would look for something better equipped for our needs
7.0The location was perfect to walk to main street, shoos and tea rooms, and to visit family.
− The stairs were very steep and difficult to get luggage upstairs and the bathroom was downstairs It was inconvenient that we needed to go out for salt and paper, paper towel and toilet paper and that there was no egg flipper These things should be made available. Also the tv remote batteries were dead.
