7.0The accommodation was very good. The kitchen great, shower good. chairs comfortable, lots of cold weather bedding and wonderful views.
− However the floor boards were very noisy especially in the lower room below the twin bed room. i nearly jumped out of bed when I first heard them creak. The stairs are steep and shallow coming down stairs.

8.0Great location for walking into town. The house has a lot of character and is well resourced with everything you need. The views from the house are good. The information book was very helpful too.
− The sofas were not particularly comfortable but that was minor for us. The picture showing where the fire extinguisher was in the information booklet is incorrect. It was in a different location.
Nice place to stay with lake view.
9.0Nice, roomy house with views of the gorgeous lake. Five minute drive to the small town. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and washing machine is in the garage.

10.0Property was at the top of the hill and had a great (way more than “partial”) view of Lake Tekapo. It was only a short 10 minute walk to everything in town.
− There is only one bathroom and it’s located on the top floor. Not a problem for us since there was only two of us, but if you were with a larger family it could slow you down or be harder for people with more limited mobility. But no negatives from us!

10.0Exceptionally clean and cozy. The living room frames a perfect picture-postcard view of Lake Tekapo and the mountain Cook in the distance.
