Great relaxing place to stay .
8.0Property is situated in a great location with easy walking access to Lake Tekapo. Comfortable & well equipped on a quiet street.

10.0Lovely property, very clean, comfortable and warm. Fireplace preset with wood by host and plenty of spare firewood. Good instructions on use.

2.0− Unfortunately we had a terrible time at SkyLight House. Whilst the house appliances are high end, there were no curtains/blinds on the bedroom skylights, meaning that light streamed in at 5am each morning. Furthermore, something in the accommodation was extremely irritant, causing both my husband and I to continuously sneeze and to find breathing difficult. Whilst I have suffered with allergies in the past, my husband has never and even he found it difficult staying here. Once we left the apartment, even standing in the middle of the Lupin fields, breathing was so much easier. This was by far the most expensive accommodation of our honeymoon, and we unfortunately had to leave early, forgo our payment and book further accommodation as we could not tolerate the apartment for the above reasons. Simon’s communication was excellent throughout and we’re sorry to leave a negative review, however even taking out the irritant factor above, had we known the apartment did not have curtains/blinds in the bedroom we would never have booked this.
