We loved everything about our stay at Evelix, the house is lovely, so warm and welcoming. Beautifully restored in such a lovely area, with lovely gardens. Evelix is quiet and peaceful and yet close enough to everything we were planning to visit on our holiday. The owners were very helpful and always easy to contact.

Evolix was beautiful, very roomy and very well decorated and designed. Traditional and luxurious but with modern contemporary flair. It had everything and more that you need, the beds were incredibly comfortable and despite it being large was very warm and felt cosy. Communication with the owners was fab, and the extra touches were very appreciated, including a lovely lemon drizzle cake!

− Nothing significant at all. It would have been nice to have a bath rack to put your toiletries and glass’s of champagne on while you had a bath as it was so big I couldn’t reach the floor!

Ein wunderschönes Haus zum Erholen

Das Haus ist einfach wunderschön. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Da das Wetter nicht wirklich gut war, haben wir viele Stunden vor dem Kamin verbracht. Es war einfach schön. Vielen Dank für diese Erinnerung, die wir uns durch diesen Aufenthalt schaffen konnten.

Es gab Heizung Probleme die am nächsten Tag sofort behoben werden konnten. Bei der Ankunft gab es ein Willkommens-Geschenk.

Schönes antikes, konfortables Haus

Das Haus wurde mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und der Garten ist riesengross und wunderschön. Es erinnert an ein altes Anwesen. Es gab ein Willkommensgeschenk (Eier, Shortbread und ein selbst gemachter Zitronen Cake) und es war alles sehr gut beschrieben in einem Ordner was man für den Aufenthalt wissen muss. Die Ankunft/Abreise war unkompliziert dank dem Schlüsselsafe. Auch die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war sehr angenehm. Das Haus hat sehr viel Charm und im grossen und ganzen alles was man für den Aufenthalt braucht.

− Das Haus ist nicht optimal für eine Familie mit jüngeren Kindern, da die beiden Schlafzimmer sehr weit voneinander entfernt sind. Sie liegen beide am jeweils anderen Ende des Hauses und eines ist sogar noch einen Stock höher. Einen Minuspunkt gibt es von mir wegen der Sauberkeit. Oberflächlich war es ok aber wenn man genauer hinschaut war es nicht ganz sauber. Vor allem die Waschmaschine und Spühlmaschine. Die Matratzen sind steinhart, ist aber auch Geschmackssache.
