Our family enjoyed a 5 day stay at the Waterfront Cottage. The property was clean and very comfortable. It easily accommodated six of us. The rooms are a good size and the property had two great showers. The location was excellent. It's located a short drive from the highway, has access to a convenience store a short walk away, and is only a few minutes drive from big box stores and restaurants. We loved the little dock and lake view. They're perfect for early morning coffee and relaxing.

− If you're a light sleeper though, the home is near a railway with trains passing at all hours. This did not affect out stay in anyway though.

Enjoying family time together somewhere away from home is a beautiful thing when you’re at the right place.

Beautiful location.

− It only allowed for sitting around because the peddle boat and the other boat looked like they seen better days. No wood for the fire pit. Squeaky chairs and beds. The sunroom layout was sectioned with tables for 2 and be careful with the white chairs they were tippy. The can openers were crappy and barely worked. Basement shower has no fan vent and there seemed to be a leak.

We enjoyed the stay as it suited our purpose well.

Great location, on the water, close to town, easy access to the water & suited our purpose.

− Could have used more seating around the living room as house advertises 6 persons yet room only sat 4. Sunroom/breakfast room wasn’t laid out for a group as it had 3 individual tables set for two. Beds could have been more comfortable, sagged a bit. Towels were minimal, no extras and bed linens did not include flat sheets. All kitchen accessories were great except bowls of any kind were lacking.

Liked the privacy and quiet (with the exception of the very near train traffic)

− Location on the water was nice. However upon arrival, I was dubious about driving up into the driveway. The cottage was in a neighbourhood but the road ended and the uphill driveway and yard were unkempt. The pictures in the description were accurate. Although it shows a fire pit in the yard, there was no firewood to burn in it. The in person experience was less than ideal. The true potential of this property was lacking. It’s a shame the property has not been maintained as well as it could be.

Loved the swimming. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well designed and stocked. Shower good. Nice deck.

− Train very close and very loud. No rails on steps going down to lake. Grounds not kept. No fan in bathroom. No night lights. Difficult for someone to get to the lake front for anyone with mobility issues.
