It was just a perfect place to stay to explore the southern part of Kent.
10.0We were met by the owners' parents who live on the same farm who were very friendly and helpful - they even found us a reading lamp. It was a wonderful place to stay. A beautifully converted hop barn in the Kent countryside far enough away from attractions to be peaceful but easy to reach by country lanes. It is beautifully laid out with a kitchen/diner/lounge with a well equiped kitchen and a wooder burner in the corner at the lounge end. There is a good sized bedroom with a comfy double bed and an ensuite with shower. We were also supplied with a welcome which was very handly as we had driven for about 6 hours. There is a 'shop' by the dining table with local produce and an honesty box.
− The barn is not really set up for anyone staying for more than two or three days as storage is limited. As it has a washing machine and tumble dryer we will bring much fewer clothes with us next time and use these.
Fully recommended! Wonderful stay in a cozy cottage.

10.0Perfect place for us two and the two dogs. We'll equipped kitchen and living space with plenty nice touches; through local food hamper with fresh fruit from a garden/honesty bar to folders with local places to visit. Owners very friendly and helpful. Huge paddock available for dogs is a bonus.

10.0The Hop Barn liegt sehr ruhig und idyllisch mitten in Kent. Das Haus bietet genug Platz für 2 Erwachsene, und das große Grundstück ist perfekt, wenn man mit Hund anreist. Angrenzend laden Spaziergänge durch Apfelplantagen ein. Wir wurden von der Gastgeberin herzlich in Empfang genommen und mit allen notwendigen Informationen versorgt. In der nähreren Umgebung gibt es eine Fülle von Sehenswürdigkeiten, insbesondere Sissinghurst Garden. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.
