Nice clean cottage but bathroom downstairs has put us off from ever revisiting.
8.0It allowed dogs. Lounge/dinner spacey enough for a few days stay
− Bathroom downstairs. Booking.com should advise as older people find it hard to go downstairs in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Also the shower was a squeeze. I am 13 stone and found it hard to wash properly. Also parking is a problem but we managed to get a parking spot away from the main road where there were no yellow lines.

Lovely country stay with opportunity to visit the busy city of Durham or Newcastle
9.0Lovely cosy home with enough space to host a family of 4 . Enclosed safe garden . Near to beamish, Durham, metrocentre and city centre and only 20 from the coast and corbridge and the famous Grants patisserie
− There was nothing negative about the property other than the very light mornings with the sunrise and the property have very light coloured curtains - blackout blinds or darker fabrics would have been ideal .
Super cosy; home away from home
9.0It was very cosy but had plenty of space and everything was very comfortable. It felt like a home away from home, rather than a typical holiday rental. We would certainly come back!
− The parking was a little tricky, but manageable. My only note would be to add a what3words for the entrance door and a photo upon check in - we only recognised the door because there was a lock box outside.
