The cottage was lovely, tastefully decorated and in a great location for all amenities including the beach for our elderly dog which he loved! The garden was one of the main things that attracted us to this property. Communication with the owner was very good with regards to a few issues we had and who did their best to try and rectify the situation. I would recommend this property and definitely stay there again if I could be sure the drainage issues were completely solved. No noise issues, the double glazing seems very good.

− Unfortunately the Lay-zee Spa (hot tub) was broken and so unusable. This was a huge disappointment to us and although the owner had ordered a new one on the day of our arrival, it was not delivered during our week's stay. There was also a problem with the drainage and we couldn't use the downstairs shower or the dishwasher until the Thursday evening of our week long break after the plumber came to try and rectify the issue. The owner did give us around an 8% refund on the total cost of the accommodation on account of the inconvenience and disappointment caused. The stairs were steep, but we knew that beforehand. Just needed to take extra care with them. A stairgate would have been useful to try to deter our old dog from attempting them, but we made use of the clothes drying rack for this purpose. We chose to sleep in the back bedroom (in case there was noise from the road) although it was rather small and very little room to get around the bed. Other little things like having an extra saucepan, a teapot (yes I'm a bit old fashioned in that respect) and a sieve would have been useful but not essential.

− Seemed to be a soak away for the shower downstairs so didn’t drain properly. Sofa has seen better days.

This property had a fully equipped kitchen from dish washer to a laundry room also a downstairs toilet and shower. we were very pleased to see the kitchen has everything and more that you could possibly want you do not need to buy anything other than food! ALSO A SHOP 2 doors down !!! Dishwasher tabs and washing tabs/ sponges / battery’s and plenty more all stocked for guests. The house had plenty of pots pans dishes and all kinds of trays including cake trays and cute cookie dishes. This kitchen was more equipped than our own home!! you could not want for more also a little kitchen bar table. The garden was very big with a fire pit with 6 seats and 2 massive loungers also some logs inside to use and a massive table for 6/7 people including a jacuzzi and a few small tables and a bbq and bench . The living room was very large it was a living room and dining room with a very large table. 2 hoovers a ironing board and iron plus’s spare outdoor cushions for the garden table. chairs and highchair 4 table chairs and a table bench big enough for 8 plus a child. The living room has a games cabinet also and a Alexa! The stairs were very steep but okay, the rooms were fairly big and equipped with mirrors bedside tables and wardrobes with draws hangers and bedding. The bathroom was lovely updates but please be careful as the floors were so slippery getting out the shower or bath with bathroom floor Matt. I would suggest a towel on the floor. The bathroom had toilet roll and a lovely cabinet with a large draw and mirror. The only small down side was the tv in the living room was small but this was the only thing we can fault but was still good! We all had a fabulous time and couldn’t believe how much detail was put in for family’s to stay here hassle free.

Good location to travel around Cornwall but with enough amenities in Par for when at the property.
