Just right for what was required thank you.
9.0The cottage was very well presented and the bedding was super comfy which helped for a great night's sleep. Towels were also good quality, nice outlook from front of property for a very rural location. Wifi was very good and kitchen was well equipped, overall great value for money.
− Everything was fine, so not anything I can recall as a negative unless looking for a village location, but we knew where the location would be.

A warm, comfortable cottage in a beautiful location with all you could need.
10.0Mill Cottage was in a beautiful, peaceful location and a perfect base for exploring the area and walking. The cottage was so well-equipped and warm. The bedding was comfortable and to have a few bits and pieces provided in the kitchen was really helpful. The cottage was really clean, super fast WiFi, good quality towels and the field opposite was perfect for our dog to run in with the collies!
− The stairs might be easier with some gripper on or carpet runner.
Unwelcoming Property
2.0The location and the seating outside.
− There was no heat other than a log fire and the host charged £7 per bag for logs. There was central heating but the thermostat was located in the host's property next door and he had his windows and door wide open all day and so the thermostat didn't kick in. It was freezing in the mornings, and in the bathroom at all times of the day. The lighting in the living area had v. low watt light bulbs which made it dingy. There were, what appeared to be, blood stains on one of the double bed sheets. I asked for it to be replaced and was handed a replacement which turned out to be a single sheet. The mattress below the sheet I took off was badly stained. The kitchen cupboard doors were very grubby around the handles with fingerprints. Photos available.
