Great location for a family get-together

We came for a family gathering with our 4 adult children and their significant others. We were happy to find a place we could all stay together and cook. The kitchen was large and there were lots of plates, glasses and utensils. There were several good bedrooms for adults and lots of bathrooms. There are two bedrooms on the main level and 5 on the second floor. Some have a shared bath. There were two bedrooms with bunkbeds, one a Jack and Jill with a queen bed room. There was a second kitchen and a sitting area on the second floor that would be a good space for the kids to hang out if you are traveling with your family. There were condiments in the kitchen. The location was good, just outside of Crested Butte proper. In case you are flying in on your private plane, it's next to the air strip. There are 3 adorable donkeys in a corral near the property that were fun to watch.

− For the price the place had several maintenance issues. We had trouble opening some windows, not all had handles to open and some seemed stuck. The upstairs windows in the common area didn't have screens. It got fairly warm due to the gorgeous cathedral windows and we did need to open the windows to get some cross ventilation to cool the place off. The closet doors in the king bedroom were off the track and pretty hard to get back on. The wooden blind window covers were hard to get to move up and down and some didn't have the little wands that help them change from closed to open. The dishwasher was super slow. All minor things. It is a lovely house.
