Beautiful location and cosy

8.0

Location, comfort and view!

No logs, broken toilet roll holder and the road was quite loud

Good place for me and will use again!

8.0

GOOD LOCATION FOR MY NEEDS.

Handles broken on the windows?? Noise from the traffic is a constant issue, duck tape is no answer, could be a safety risk perhaps?

Nice cottage but check reviews

6.0

Location perfect for our visit

Very surprised to have no handbook for cottage Cleaning was very surface level. Under sofa was filthy from previous visitors rubbish (only spotted when checking nothing had rolled under). Mouse droppings under kitchen bin. Surfaces not great. Drawers broken in bedroom. Bath filled whilst showering. Cottage would definitely benefit from some general maintenance. Communication was poor. Was nervous with this on booking after seeing reviews and so we were proactive and reached out in readiness - as per booking confirmation email! We had no response to WhatsApp messages, calls or via booking.com. Only had a response after putting in a cancellation request the day before check in- funnily enough we had a response within 10 minutes. It seems bizarre to give the contact number but to not respond with bookers enquiries?! Half expected improvements following reviews but sadly not. It is a nice cottage but I'd probably suggest a different place for a worry free stay.

Uncaring owner nearly ruined our stay

5.0

In a lifetime of travel, we had not encountered the heating / hot water system installed in this property. The property doesn’t have an info / instruction book and the owner didn’t respond to our phone messages, app messages, or to booking.com’s attempts to contact him. After our first night without heating, the traveller in Cottage No.1 showed us how to operate it; booking.com was powerless to assist.
