8.0Really well located, just a short stroll into the heart of Barnard Castle, we were able to part on the street right outside the property each night for free. The property was cozy, spotless and ideal for our short break. Three TVs were great as well!
− The large number of deer antlers and stuffed heads were a little off putting. Taking a bath or shower whilst being over looked by eleventh sets of antlers was rather a strange feeling. I know that is a personal view, but both of us felt there were a few too many for comfort!

Barnard Castle is a lovely market town set in beautiful countryside. Well worth a visit.
9.0Location is central, really handy for all needs, sightseeing, shopping, walking. Accommodations very tastefully decorated in all rooms. Very good standard of cleanliness.

10.0Perfect location, just a short walk to the high street. Plenty of shops, bars & restaurants. We ate at the Capri Italian restaurant & the Bengal Merchant Indian restaurant, both served lovely food. The cottage was perfect, very clean & comfortable. Would highly recommend.

− Lighting too subdued. Traffic noise starting early in the morning. Poor mobile signal.
