Ideal location/property for a short stay and Kath, the host was very helpful
6.0Location was ideal for the Churnet Valley Railway and ideal for short and longs walks in the area. Very peaceful setting and easy to locate Beds/mattresses were comfortable and linen clean
− The bedside tables are very flimsy and not suitable. A child would demolish them in an instant.

8.0We only stayed for 2 nights for visiting Alton Towers. Host Kath explained everything on arrival, and provided tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits. Beds were made and clean and nice big bath sheets were provided. Shower was good.
− Place was dated and could do with some upgrading, floors were extremely creaky. 1 extra bed was supposed to be free according to the site, but was then told it was an extra £5 cash. Bit unfair when it was booked as a place for 4!
Perfect location & perfect accommodation
10.0Beautiful little cottage, very easy to get to, perfect for our trip to Alton towers as a family of four. Lovely and clean with comfy beds. Tea, coffee, milk& biscuits on arrival. Kath was very accommodatinf and recommended loads of activities and places to eat. We will definitely book again on our next trip to Alton towers. Thanks Kath.
