5.0The location is very rural and peaceful. There are not many services, but that is to be expected from the description and location. Parking is available, and there are also goats and chickens.
− We arrived early and were not able to check in as the apartment was not ready. This was fine, and we did not expect an early check in but it was difficult to find the host on the property. When we did check in later in the afternoon, the host stated that we had been "upgraded", but there did not appear to be any difference from what we had booked. After our stay, I checked all of the photos for the available apartments at this property, and there were many discrepancies. The property is in a bit of a state of disrepair, and while it is safe and there were no issues, this continued inside the apartment. It was clean but quite worn; the handle kept coming off the kitchen faucet. The tableware, kitchen facilities, facilities in general did not reflect the price. I had noted the previous reviews about internet service, and proactively reached out to the host about this. They said that it would not be an issue as long as you didn't expect big city fibre speeds. I said this was fine, as I just needed to be available for work. In fact, internet service was very poor and inconsistent, it was not possible to remain connected at any time, unless my device was held up to one of 2 windows in the apartment. The host stated that they were disappointed not to see us when we checked out, but again, it was difficult to find and/or contact them on site. Also to note, check-out is at 9:30 which is a touch earlier than standard and we did feel a little rushed. I was not able to reach out to customer service at this time, as I was busy, and alternative accommodations would have been very challenging. I tried to reach out to Booking.com afterwards, but the only option is to call. I don't feel that the photos and representation of this property on the platform are accurate. There was a care package of warm scones, cream, and jam on arrival. This was a nice touch and appreciated.

Great place to bring young children. Lots of toys and a trampoline!
