10.0Very relaxing stay. The suite is a super-spacious, bright room, with lovely views over the woods and the gardens. Very comfortable bed and the bathroom has a beautiful roll top bath, with more pretty views for you to soak away modern stresses, taking pride of place. Simon and Eilish were lovely hosts and the scrambled eggs breakfast option was delicious. I would have loved to have gotten to know their sweet dog, Max, a bit more but he's very shy, unless you have a treat to hand, maybe :-) It's only a few minutes away from Abbeyleix town so do check out the wonderful Morrissey's pub and Joe Bergin's pub, if you have the opportunity.
