The place was beautiful. The scenery was amazing

The owner, we had an issue with the fridge. All the our food was defosted . we had a diabetic who needed to keep his insulin cool his reaction was welll leave. We could not leave as we travelled in a mini bus, and no one had a car with them, sfter back and forth, he sent someone with ice he really needs to learn some customer service skills in the end he offered us an partial refund witch we are still waiting for As lovely as the place was I definitely want be returning I also videoed the house before we left to show it was left in a clean perfect condition as I don't trust who owns this property!!

Relaxing, enjoyable

The location for sure. The fact that it had everything we needed and was spacious.

The property was adequate.

Great location, wonderful garden and views, but interior was a bit shabby and disappointing.

We were stunned by the setting of Aberhiriaeth Hall, its beautiful surroundings and the wonderful views across the river Dyfi to the hills beyond. The owner was prompt in addressing one of the concerns we raised early on our visit about a cracked cafetière and a replacement arrived the following morning via Amazon. Despite the shortcomings, outlined below, we had an enjoyable week, walking in the hills, playing snooker and pool, and delighting in the views.

We were disappointed by the state of the interior decoration and the general cleanliness of the house. It appeared rather shabby, the bathrooms were not clean, and the kitchen floor was impossible to clean because of the uneven and loose floor tiles. The large size of the dining room furniture and small size of the room made it cramped when sitting around the table, especially between the fireplace hearth and the table … and there were only seven of us … in a house advertised as accommodating 14 people! There were a few other shortcomings: a chair broke when one of our party sat on it, sending him to the floor. Luckily he was not badly hurt; The water was not very hot; No dishwasher tablets were provided, even though these were stated to be supplied; The bolt on one of the bathroom doors was not operable; One of the shower wastes was almost permanently blocked; No information was provided on what to do with recycling; The tin opener didn’t work so we had to buy our own; and the washing machine had dirty, mouldy bed sheets in it!
