Séjour très agréable- Très très belle maison japonaise, la chambre était spacieuse et confortable. Notre hôte était d'un accueil et d'une gentillesse inouïe. Du fait d'une météo capricieuse, la maîtresse de maison nous a offert et le pick up et le chemin pour aller dans le centre de Yufuin le lendemain matin (ainsi que le soir en rentrant mais j'ai préféré rentrer à pied). Le chemin à pied de la maison au centre de la ville est superbe, très appréciable et se marche facilement. Je vous recommande, si vous le pouvez, d'emprunter le chemin qui borde le lac, quel bonheur. Les petits déjeuners étaient sains et complets. Merci encore pour votre accueil.

The lady running the accomodation was absolutely wonderful. One of the best stays I have ever had. Family atmosphere in old Japanese house. Perfect!

Solo trip 2 nights

- Lovely grandma and grandpa couple in the farmhouse. -I would say it's a bit far from the city center, with luggage, it was a 40 min walk. Very pretty landscapes though, if you don't mind. And if you do like trains, you can see the yuifin no mori go past. ( Or. U can taxi 🚕 ) -The shower shed has been updated from a wooden tub to a plastic bath, not bad, just scrub down the tub before you shower as I have done and enjoy ~ or if you don't like shower at onsens in the city ( also recommended) - Was able to use the bikes and explore further up, very picturesque if u cycle into the fields, and across the fields you should find another small onsen place. -Host was very nice to send me back to bus station with car! Extremely kind -Bentos were a nice touch in the morning, with tea! - very good price for a solo traveler

− - the partitions between rooms are quite thin! So if you sensitive to noise, just a heads up

They offer to pick you up for free. The grandma was so kind, she asked me if I want her to cook something up at night when she realized I haven’t had dinner yet, so I don’t have to go outside in the cold night looking for food.

It was all so pretty and the okasan was the nicest person ever!! So lovely she even took me with her car to show me around the town!! And prepared the most delicious breakfast I ever had. I really recommend!!!
