Extremely helpful and friendly staff, good views over the lake from the restaurant and terrace, good food

The view from the balcony in the room is blocked by the newly constructed restaurant unfortunately

Pleasant accomodation but creaky floors

6.0

Beautiful views. Hospitable hosts. Nice food.

If you are on the bottom floor and the people above you are active, you will not sleep. The floorboards creak and there is zero soundproofing. We unfortunately had loud people above us and the creaking made it hard to sleep

Very nice stay. Clean rooms. Hosts kindly lent us walking poles for the duration of the POB. Recommend!

Huisje prima

We had dinner at the main house, which is located further down the road. The hosts prepared an absolutely delicious meal for us and even brought out their beautiful tableware, making the evening feel extra special. The dinner was outstanding, and I would definitely give it 5 stars.

Unfortunately, there were also some things that I did not enjoy. The cabins surrounding ours were still under construction, which resulted in loud construction noise accompanied by loud music starting from 8:00 a.m. According to the Booking.com listing, check-out was until 12:00 p.m., so I had specifically planned this stay as my rest day with the opportunity to sleep in. Unfortunately, the construction noise had already disrupted those plans. Then, at 10:15 a.m., I received a WhatsApp message saying that check-out was actually at 10:00 a.m. and that any additional time would incur extra charges. After I sent a screenshot showing that the Booking.com listing stated a check-out time of 12:00 p.m., I was told that this was a mistake. I had to jump out of bed, quickly pack my belongings, and leave in a rush. In addition, the bed base was broken, even though the cabin appeared to be brand new. As a result, the mattress sagged significantly in the middle, making the bed uncomfortable to sleep on.
