If you're looking for the perfect place to stay in Nuwara Eliya, look no further. This was one of the most memorable stays of our entire trip! From the moment we arrived, the wonderful hosts welcomed us with genuine warmth and made us feel like family. Their kindness, generosity, and attention to every little detail made our stay truly unforgettable. The stunning colonial house is full of history and charm—it feels like walking into another era. The rooms are cozy, beautifully maintained, and the huge beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. Breakfast was simply amazing: a generous spread of homemade dishes prepared with love, fresh tropical fruits, and delicious freshly squeezed juices. Every meal reflected the care and hospitality of the hosts. This is much more than a place to sleep—it's an experience you'll remember long after your trip. We can't recommend it highly enough and would return in a heartbeat!

The host family went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely fabulous. The portions were so generous that we couldn’t even finish everything! Whenever we requested tea, the hosts happily prepared it for us. As an extra gesture of kindness, they even dropped us off at the railway station, despite it not being included in the booking. The location was also excellent. Pizza Hut, Domino’s, and several other restaurants were just steps away from the property, while a supermarket was only a 1–2 minute walk away, making it very convenient for anything we needed. Without a doubt, these were some of the best hosts we have ever had. We loved every moment of our stay and would gladly choose to stay here again if we return to Nuwara Eliya. Highly recommended!

− There was a noticeable incense aroma in the property upon arrival, which might feel a little strong at first for some guests, but we got used to it very quickly and it wasn’t an issue during the rest of our stay.

Charming Stay with a Beautiful Old-World Vibe

We had a lovely stay at Shirin1892 in Nuwara Eliya. The house has a wonderful old charm dating back to 1892 and although the rooms are old, they were clean and comfortable. Our host Asela was incredibly kind and welcoming and we really enjoyed the delicious Sri Lankan breakfast served every morning!

民宿裡外都很漂亮，佈置典雅溫馨，古色古香，適合體驗英國殖民時代風情。主人非常親切友善，英語流利，還幫我們安排去霍頓平原的司機，設想極為周到。早餐是現做的超級棒，好吃又豐盛！房間很大，而且有棉被！非常舒適溫暖。

− 民宿入口道路是陡碎石坡而且很狹窄，要小心駕駛。住了兩晚，兩天都有遇到停電的情況。浴室水量極為細小，洗澡很困難。房間隔音不好。其它沒什麼缺點。
