The ultimate romantic escape for couples!
10.0Wow, what an amazing property! The Lodge is the ultimate romantic escape for couples. I proposed to my partner here (she said yes!), and it couldn’t have been a more perfect setting. The views are absolutely breathtaking in every direction, from the vineyard to the rolling mountains and the peacefulness of the area makes it feel like a true retreat. The outdoor space is incredible, with a large veranda, BBQ, and plenty of grass for picnics or simply relaxing. It’s also ideal for families, with space to run around and enjoy the outdoors. Inside, the property is full of charm and character. The lounge is cozy with a beautiful fireplace, and the kitchen is extremely well equipped. There are thoughtful touches everywhere, books to read, games to play, and even wines available for purchase made from the very vineyard you overlook. The complimentary prosecco (also from the vineyard) was absolutely delicious and such a lovely welcome surprise! The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, with plenty of pillows and a big, luxurious bed, we both had the best sleep. The bathrooms seem newly renovated, and the bathtub with vineyard views is pure perfection. Overall, The Lodge exceeded our expectations in every way. It now holds a very special place in our hearts after our engagement, and we can’t wait to return. We had a couple of minor hiccups during our stay, but the property manager was incredibly responsive and helpful, truly amazing service. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful, romantic, and memorable getaway.
