− Would’ve been great if offered vegetarian sausages at breakfast and barista coffee such as flat white / latte instead of cafetière, pizza was also a bit undercooked. I understand the process of being sustainable - for me personally ordering food before arrival wasn’t ideal as I like to eat according to the moment instead of ordering ahead, but thats just me and I’m sure it works for many. I think I just ordered the wrong thing as everyone else’s food looked fantastic!
The hotel was very confort the food excellent and the staff extremely friendly

7.0The breakfasts were great. Our bed was very comfortable. The surroundings were lovely
− The long, dusty drive full of potholes. It wasn’t possible to make the room dark so we awoke at 4.30am. (Eye masks were provided)There were no windows to open enough to keep the room cool. (Fan was provided) The shower temperature was not adjustable so on very hot days we had hot showers. We would have appreciated being told we were the only guests.
An excellent property, in beautiful countryside with excellent facilities, food and staff. And good value for money.
10.0The part we stayed in was originally a oast house and has been sympathetically converted into a comfortable en suite bedroom. An enormous comfortable bed along with stylish furniture. The restaurant was very attractive and comfortable. We were visiting friends so did not have dinner but we enjoyed breakfast on both days and having worked in the hospitality industry all my working life found the food to be of excellent quality and presented. The staff were excellent friendly and very efficient and knowledgeable.
− The access road which I accept is a private road and has to be maintained by the owners but even with a 4x4 found it very difficult to avoid the potholes.
