Comfortable in a great location

Fabulous location. Quiet yet close to shops/cafes/restaurants and Botanical Gardens. Good kitchen facilities. Comfortable bedding. Pool was clean and very refreshing. Bird life abundant. We had a problem accessing wifi but this was efficiently remedied. Air-conditioning and fans worked well to cool all the house in November!

− Unfortunately there is only one bathroom and this is outside the house. The separate toilet inside the house did not have a handwashing facility.

The location of this home is great, its within easy walking distance of the Botanic Gardens, and adjacent fitness tracks. There is a good cafe nearby called Ozmosis serving delicious food, and a supermarket just down the road.

− Unfortunately this home did not live upto expectation, It does need some maintenance, and a bit of TLC. The deck around the pool needs replacing as in parts it is quite rotten, I think with the weight of an adult in the right place it wouldn't be hard to fall through. The fixings for the deck itself are sitting proud of the deck meaning that it is easy to catch your feet on them. The steps upto the pool room are downright dangerous, and it will only be a matter of time before someone falls through the gaps. It certainly isn't child friendly. The TV in the pool room has a constant ghost on the screen so is unusable, there is a DVD remote + DVD's in the lounge, but no player. The house itself has a slight smell of mould, and does need a good clean, we also had to rewash all the dishes as some still had food on them, I did contact Cozie homes who are the managing agents for this property to advise them of my concerns, but most of the above items arn't a quick fix, so their options were limited. This was not a good start to an otherwise good holiday.
