3.0Difficult to say. The place certainly looks appealing. As we arrived in the evening (in the dark) it was disconcerting after a long drive to not find anyone in attendance. I walked around the establishment on the outside, through the pool area, into the back door and through the building back to the front without apparently disturbing anyone. I returned to the car in the hope of getting my non-ambulant wife with her walker up the front steps. At that point a young woman appeared and advised us to take a side pathway - gravel - around the side of the building to our room. Not a great start, The Room was good, the bathroom small but serviceable - difficult to get in with the walker! The heater didn't work but the electric blanket did - good.
− Because I had to go out to find food, I found that trying to locate the entry on return at night is almost impossible, a small opening through a massive hedge - no lights. The appliances were plentiful but sorting out the cables to put any of them to use was impossible. The AC was good for cooling - but we needed warming! Disabled access very difficult.
Burnbank Estate
10.0It's always wonderful to stay at Burnbank with our dog. This was our third time. The hosts are lovely, the rooms are always clean and the location is perfect.
