8.0Sophia the host was very friendly and welcoming. There was very good parking in a garage for our motorbike. It was near to the centre of Ypres. The shower was good. Bottled water was provided.
− We were on the top floor where we had a room and a private bathroom down the corridor. Sophia had another job and not available from 7 am to 5pm. There was a lift, but very small and claustrophobic and as there was a fear of it getting stuck and nobody on site during the day we used the stairs. We felt uncomfortable using the stairs because we had to pass by the other guest's bathroom and to a certain extent invaded their privacy because they were given this floor as theirs. The check in is 5pm which is very late, especially for motorbike riders, who are usually hot and ready for a shower at an earlier time of day! We were lucky because I contacted Sophia who allowed us to check in earlier but this is not the norm. The bed creaked severely when getting in and out.

− Being the World Cup there was a large screen close by which meant it was noisy until quite late but this is obviously not usual.
