5.0The location was lovely and the room was very spacious. We enjoyed the hot tub and the free kayaks a lot. The breakfast was very yummy!
− Communication through booking.com was mediocre, we never received check-in or check-out instructions and arrived without knowing where to go. After calling while standing outside the property, the person meeting us for check-in was friendly and helped us to our room. We did not like that the "private" entrance is within a walkway for all guests going down to the lake. The place was a bit more cluttered than on pictures, we could not properly fish from the platform because of it and there was big Christmas decoration in July spread throughout. Breakfast was only available from 8:30 - 10:00am. There was only 1 glas and 0 mugs in the room (for 2 guests). We heard someone play piano from above (rather loudly, not just faint in the distance), which in itself was lovely, but we were wondering how private the room really is. It wasn't too clean, we found leftover soap and clothes from other tenants..

Worst Stay I've experienced in over 50 Countries.
1.0The location is beautiful, right off the water. Well curated minus the Christmas Decor in May.
− Their stairs were broken so I couldn't use the deck, hot tub, SUP, or Kayaks. This was not disclosed even during check-in. The TV also did not work so they had to move me to another room & tried to charge me more. The owner would not come down as I was told he was too busy to deal with me. The stairs were not fixed the next day as promised so I asked for a discount. Their solution was give me half off the 2nd night to leave immediately. Wow! I said that was not acceptable so the man said he would reimburse me in full for the night, then screamed at me and hung up. I rang the doorbell to drop off the key and they wouldn't answer so I had to go back downstairs again. I was also lied to by the daughter Ann several times. It was a disaster. Also if anyone has any mobility problems this would be an impossible B&B to stay at. The disrespect and unprofessional behaviour was unacceptable. I would highly suggest you look at removing this property from your inventory or keeping an extremely closes eye on the owners. FYI I did a video as I was leaving to show I left the key & the room was impeccable. This was a first for me but I do not trust this family. I'm extremely well travelledI and have made so many friends from B&B's and travel so this was a first and absolutely the worst!!!!
