9.0Janette and Rob were most welcoming to The Gem. Everything was very well apportioned and clean. We enjoyed Janette’s fresh fruit breakfasts in her intriguing garden. The Gem was in a wonderful location to explore the area of Winchelsea and Rye.

8.0Geräumige Unterkunft, freundliche Gastgeberin.
− Es war sehr warm und nur an einigen Fenstern gab es Fliegengitter. Um herin zu kommen musste man durch den Privatbereich der Gastgeber gehen und hatte bei aller Freundlichkeit den Eindruck, ein wenig zu stören. Die Zufahrt zum guten Stellplatz war extrem holprig auf einer nicht befestigten Straße. Fußläufig war ein Restaurant kaum zu erreichen.

Peaceful countryside stay
10.0A lovely house in the countryside, all of the upstairs was our private area with a bedroom with very comfy bed, separate lounge with refreshments, and shower room. Views across fields and a lovely garden. Janette and Rod were fantastic friendly helpful hosts. Janette came up in the morning at an agreed time with a tray of 2 croissants each, jam, fresh fruit, yogurts and we had cereal, tea, coffee and orange juice available. Very convenient area for Rye, Winchelsea and the coast. Highly recommended
