Disgraceful stay away!
1.0Once staying in the Dakota you realise why it is a two star the facilities are Akin to a motel. The furnishings are outdated and the carpets are crusty. I would not recommend staying here.
− The staff treat you with disrespect. I was accused of stealing breakfast when my guest were told it was complementary on day two and they refused to take any accountability for their staff’s mistake. Instead, the manager decided to log a fallacious police report lying that my guests walked out without paying, when they were told by her staff that the “small” breakfast is complementary with the stay. They then threatened me to pay for their mistake. Horrible experience!

1.0− Highly disappointed. I had booked 3 night stay. I arrived at the property between 10.00 and 11.00 pm and found no reception there. Tried phoning several times to contact the staff but no answer. Panicked and felt stranded, I had to book another hotel at higher cost to spend the night. After settling in the new hotel, I wrote an email to property management telling them the situation. Next day I received multiple reponses both via email and text messages, telling me that this was a self check-in property and they had sent me check-in details in booking.com notification. Although I found this on booking.com next morning (not sure when it showed up) but that was not a good way of communication at all. They could have easily sent me this detail on my email or via phone. So highly unprofessional service, especially on the checking in situation where people may not get room at another hotel. The room I selected was 'king' sized but it was much smaller than I expected. The toilet, washroom and basin were also very small. They haven't even provided a basic fan in this hot weather.
